Every adult at Priory School is committed to helping the children feel safe and happy.  We have a dedicated team to lead our work on safeguarding, however, any member of staff can be contacted to help with issues that may arise, including e-safety concerns.

Our Safeguarding Team:

Mrs C Sellwood - Deputy Safeguarding Lead

Mr C Martin - Deputy Safeguarding Lead

Mrs A Parish - Deputy Safeguarding Lead

Mr R Silk - Governor with responsibility for Safeguarding

Priory School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Child Protection Policy, Online Safety Policy, Image Use Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.  Please follow the links below to view these policies.

Child Protection Policy   Acceptable Use Policy   Online Safety Policy   Image Use Policy                                                                                                                                                                      Photographs or videos of school productions, sports days or other events are for the enjoyment of parents and carers only and can not be used in any way that could potentially place a child at risk. This would include publishing images in any form of print or on the internet including social networking sites. This is emphasised before concerts and shows etc.       When a child joins our school community permissions (or decline of permissions) are obtained for Information & Images. If your circumstances change and these permission arrangements need to be adjusted, please notify the school office immediately.  These permissions are all gathered in our GDPR agreement for each pupil. Please see below our child friendly safeguarding approach:
